North Korea names its space agency NADA

A Press Release from the North Korea Central News Agency has announced the launch of North Korea’s space program.

North Korea’s Kim Jung Un has named the North Korean space program the National Aerospace Development Administration, NADA.

Yea, you heard that right

It appears that North Korea has gone ahead with a push to turn the country into a space power, by exercising its right to peaceful development of space travel on a legal basis.  The press release also introduced NADA’s emblem, which looks somewhat familiar.

The news of North Korea’s space ambitions come in the midst of South Korea’s published images of two suspected North Korean drones that crashed in South Korea and a brief exchange of artillery fire between the two nations.
