Watch as Water Boils and Freezes at the Same Time

To the average layman, freezing and boiling are two completely opposite things.  However, under the right conditions(pressure and temperature), the two can occur together.  Typically if the pressure is really low, a substance can go straight from solid to gas as it warms.  If done in a small enclosed environment, the gas produced will build up, create pressure, and turn into a liquid.  The video is what happens when a substance is left “near” but not at its triple point, the point where a substance can exist in all 3 forms simultaneously.
