A 17 year-old teenager from Dublin is in a coma after a fellow student grabbed his testicles as a joke, leading to what is suspected to be a heart attack. He passed out after the incident, which happened during his lunch-break on Thursday. A fellow student jerked his testicles as part of a prank that went very wrong. A teacher and one of the students performed CPR on the victim until the ambulance arrived, which may have very well saved his life.
A serious hit to the scrotum elevates blood pressure and heart rate, temporarily, to very extreme and dangerous levels. It’s a rare occurrence, but sometimes fatal outcomes can be triggered from impeccably unlucky timing on a strike.
