The Ridiculously Creepy Room Hidden Beneath this Chest of Drawers in an Old Church

Churches tend to be very old buildings established upon the founding of a town.  Due to that fact, they also tend to have a very ancient, eldritch, and creepy atmosphere.  Sometimes, you get little gems like the secret passage in this church.  When visitng a church, this Redditor needed to use the restroom, and was instructed to go to a sacristy.  Unable to find the restroom, he asked the parishioners and was shown the way to the bathroom.   This was certainly not what he expected to find.

The sacristy was small, with no bathroom door in sight.

There was, however, a small panel in the drawers that were up against the wall.

When the small panel hidden in the drawers opened up…

Which opened up...

It revealed a very small, winding staircase.

And revealed a very small, winding staircase.

Which went all the way down…

All the way down...

And ended in a small, open air bathroom.

Which ended in a small, open air bathroom.

It’s hard to be certain whether the bathroom is haunted, but at the very least there are lights down there.
